Mission: To provide performing arts education and a safe place for exploration, self-discovery, and creativity.

·       Lyceum Studio is particularly dedicated to accessibility and affordability and plans to offer student scholarships and subsidized tuition opportunities.  The studio is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion of all people and creating a place for developing skills of communication and literacy through a well-rounded professional, theatre arts experience.

September 24th – November 8th

Tuesday Evening:

4:00 pm – 6:00 pm: Musical Theatre Intensive (Teens) This class is designed as an immersive musical theatre class for teenage performers wishing to be “triple threats”.  One hour will be spent dancing and the second hour will be dedicated to musical theatre repertoire for singers. $225/semester

5:30 pm – 7:00 pm: Rhythm and Rhyme (6th – 8th grade) A song and dance class designed for the musical theatre performer to engage in an ensemble class.  Each session of Rhythm and Rhyme will have a theme (for example, “42nd Street”). $175/semester

Wednesday Evening:

4:00 pm – 5:30 pm:  Dramatic Artists (6th grade – 8th grade) An intermediate acting class for middle school actors focused on scene study and acting games/exercises.  Dramatic Artists will share their scene work during a performance scheduled for the last week of class. $150/semester

Sunday afternoon:

12:30 pm – 1:30 pm:  Creative Play – (1st grade – 3rd grades) An introductory acting class based in imaginative play and theatre games.  Creative Play actors will have a performance to share their work with friends and family during the last week of class. $125/semester

1:30 pm – 3:00 pm:  Lyceum Spotlight Singers – (3rd grade – 8th grade) An ensemble of musical theatre Singers who learn and perform Broadway and popular songs.  A performance will be scheduled for the final week of class. $200/semester

3:00 pm – 4:30 pm:  Broadway Bound – Voice & Acting (6th grade – 8th grade) A musical theatre intensive focused on coaching young performers to act a song with emphasis on vocal technique and character development.  A concert will be performed during the final week of class. $225/semester

Late Fall/Holiday Semester 2017:

November 12th – December 8th

Sunday afternoon/Wednesday evening:

1:00 pm -3:00 pm (Sunday) & 4:00 – 5:30 pm (Wednesday):  Lyceum Spotlight Holiday Singers – A musical theatre ensemble class that prepares holiday repertoire for seasonal concerts.  This is a mini-semester consisting of three Sunday and two Wednesday rehearsals with performances on Saturday, December 2nd (outdoor concert for the parade in Burlington City) and Friday, December 8th (Lyceum recital) $175/semester

Spring Production 2018:  February 11th – April 15th

12:30 pm – 4:00 pm (Sunday), 4:00 – 6:00 pm (Tuesday), 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm (Wednesday):  A ten-week session dedicated to rehearsing a full production to be performed in April 2018.
